[예문연습] Considering that~, Knowing that~

[예문연습]

이 집에서 산지 3개월 쯤 됐을 무렵, 수도꼭지가 하나 고장났어요. 

집안은 물바다가 되었죠.

집주인한테 이 문제에 대해서 애길 했더니, 수리공을 보내줬어요.

꽤 밤 늦은 시간이었지만, 집주인으로서 해야할 일이라고 생각하면 그리 놀라운 일은 아니죠.

과거에 무책임한 집주인들을 상대해본 사람으로서, 이번에는 운이 좋았던 것 같아요.

그렇지만 아쉽게도 아직 완벽히 고치진 못했어요. 

물을 못써서 좀 걱정이긴 한데, 집주인도 노력하고 있으니 기다려봐야죠.

One of faucet in my laundry room was broken by the time I have been here about 3 months.

Everywhere was instantly wet. 

And I immediately notified my landlord on this matter, then he sent a repairman to us.

It was fairly late at night, but considering that it's actually his job as a landlord, it should't be a surprise. 

Having dealt with irresponsible landlord in the past, I feel lucky in this time.

But he hasn't been able to fix it so far.

I'm anxious water not to be able to use, but knowing that the landlord is trying, we can't help waiting to fix it after all.

Can't help ~ing : (어쩔수 없이) ~ 하지 않을 수 없다.
